Patch 0.9.8a was deployed to fix an issue related a lighting crash. Additionally we also made the following additions and changes to client/server functionality this evening:

• There is now a hot key that opens a door that is directly in front of you.
• The Adrenaline skill is now implemented for the Barbarian character, Adrenaline can be gained by the Barbarian when the evil allegiance is selected. Adrenaline provides a significant damage bonus at the cost of MP/SP when it is in use. You can toggle the use of adrenaline by setting a hot key under options, (look for item "Toggle Adrenaline" in the hot key action list)
• Undead Knights now have a little more HP and will heal themselves with magic when their HP is low, making them slightly more difficult.
• A bug for the centering of the lesser heal spell was fixed.
• All character speech text now correctly appears in the log

Fantasy Realm Online, Moon Haven, has been launched!  The server will be available to players each day, of course barring any issues, crashes, etc. The server will have regularly scheduled maintenance at the times listed below:

• Tuesday from 11:30 AM - 1:00 PM
• Friday from 11:30 AM - 1:00 PM 

All data will be saved right before the server is taken down for maintenance. The server also does save every 20 minutes in case of a server crash.

We are also leaving registration open until we have 100 or more people signed up. Upon registering your account will automatically be granted game access. After you have registered to download the game client simply login and on the right hand side of the site will be a link to download the game client.  Currently there are not many people signed up so if you know anyone we encourage you to get them online to try Fantasy Realm Online.

We will have some more updates and features that are gong into the game for this Tuesday/Friday, so check back to  the site regularly.

Welcome to our new site, we are excited to announce the refocused Fantasy Realm Online project and the development of our first offical realm Moon Haven.

For those of you who might be first time visitors and do not know what Fantasy Realm Online is, I will briefly elaborate here. Fantasy Realm Online is an MMORPG engine that has been under development for some time by Seamless Network Systems LLC. The engine itself can support a host of different game worlds with different rule sets and content. Moon Haven is one such world  that is currently being developed and will be our primary focus for some time to come. The Fantasy Realm Online game client will run on most modern Windows or Linux personal computers, click here for detailed computer requirements. You can read more about Fantasy Realm Online and the Moon Haven world in the About section of this site.

So now that you have an idea of what  Fantasy Realm Online and Moon Haven is all about, I want to also announce that we will be having a random invitation based beta for the Moon Haven world starting February 12th, 2011. How might you get an invitation, you ask? Simple, register on our site. We will be initially taking 50 to 100 random registered users to help us test and develop the many features of Fantasy Realm Online. User selection will be random, and is not based on first come/first serve. If you do want to have a chance for the first round of testing we recommend you register before February 9th. Invitations will be sent out via email on the 9th to the randomly selected users. They will then be able to come to our site, download the game client, and login to the Moon Haven world with their registered account. We also encourage you to register even after February 9th, we will be typically adding more users every few weeks. If you are some one who gets frustrated easily with problems in a game, we recommend waiting a few months until we get any annoying bugs ironed out.

We also want to encourage you to check out the previews section of our site frequently, we will be posting new previews and screenshots and videos every so often. Also please check out the player's guide often especially if you are considering registering for the beta. We are constantly working on this section and filling in information as fast as we can that will help you understand game characters, controls, skills and rules.

Our site is currently undergoing heavy development, we are working hard to develop our forums and additional site content. Please have patience while we add information to our site.
