I was attempting to go into "war" mode but had forgot whether it was Ctrl+A or Ctrl+Shift+A that switched modes. Well, when I pressed Ctrl+Shift+A my client crashed. Thought you'd like to know. I haven't tried any other key combinations to see what happens but I probably should. After all that's what you want beta testers to do, try to break the game, isn't it? *grins*

Thanks Chris. Actually I uninstalled and reinstalled the client and it now lets me login.

Unfortunately the client crashes on my machine when I click on the arrow pointing to the right. I assume that's the login button. I am running an AMD Athlon 2800+ with 1 gig of RAM. The OS is Windows XP SP2. I have an on-board NVIDIA video system sharing 128MB of the system RAM. My .NET extensions are up to date as of 22-OCT-2007 according to the Windows update page. Any idea what is wrong? Thanks for any help ya can give.

Thanks for the quick response. Good news indeed about the server. I understand completely how busy life can become. Anyway, I will keep checking back atleast once a week to see how things are progressing.

Chris, Glad to see things are progressing. I hope you will also provide some documentation along with the client release to aid some of us in understanding basic functions within the game, ie. how to use things, how to interact with NPCs, how to equip and unequip items, etc. I was rather lost when testing the current release on your server. I admit however I am sometimes slow on the uptake when it comes to finding and/or exploring game engines functions. I'm in the 45+ age range and us "old dogs" are a bit slow sometimes in learning new tricks. *smiles* Anyway, I wait with baited breath (never quited understood that phrase) for the release of the newest client. How soon ya think we will see a server beta?
