PvP System Change + Other Fixes

I am releasing a small update tonight. The PvP system will be changed. While the change is small this is part of a larger effort I am under taking to overhaul and simplify some of the game mechanics. There have also been some other minor fixes as well. Some changes were made last night based on feedback from players.

  • The new pvp system will allow players to opt in or opt out of pvp via a check box on the status menu under Allegiance section. Any player level 20 or over may participate in pvp.
  • If you are opted into pvp any player enemy may attack you, (That is to say there is no more level spread pvp, it is open)
  • While you are opted into pvp you will gain 25% more experience.
  • You may change your pvp status once every 24 hours.

Other Fixes:

  • Slayer based weapons now deal as follows for the three enchantment levels (1.25x, 1.5x, 2x). This was after Khor provided feedback of extremely high damage against the slaying npc types. (Completed Yesterday)
  • Prices have been reduced on newly enchanted weapons (pre-existing weapons will not be affected by the update). Thanks for reporting Fiz. (Completed Yesterday)
  • When completing a work roder that increases your skill, the skill list should now be updated with the increase without having to close and reopen (thanks Krafvar, Fiz)
