Title: client telling me to upgrade to 0.9.8.0

i redownload the installer, reinstalled everything, i run client as admin (using windows 7). all patches are up to date, and i still get this message when i open the client. "Please upgrade to the new 0.9.8.0 Client to continue..."

anyone know how to deal with this?

Navigate to c:\program files (x86)\fantasy realm online\  (or to where you installed the game)

right click on the FROClient.exe --> Properties. What version does it say. It should match the version below:

It should match the above version 1.4.1... Try running the froclient.exe directly as admin if it does match.

If it does not match as I suspect it will not... try deleting the Patches directory in c:\program files (x86)\fantasy realm online\ (or to where you installed the game)

After you delete the patches directory try relaunching the game from the shortcut. If the Client patcher has an error in the label or does not complete patching paste the errror in the forums.

Either way let me know how it works out for you. I will help you however I can.
