In full screen we keep your native resolution rather than changing it.
You could change the resolution on your monitor to a lower resolution which will make the game window larger. We may add this option to the options in the future the problem is that monitors now adays are all over the place with resolutions.

You have been able to adjust the full screen resolution in the game for some time now to your preference. (See screenshot below):

Thanks, I had not seen the Full Screen mode option, without which the options do not do anything
In full screen mode I can not iconise the game to return to my desktop. Most games allow me to send them to the task bar

You toggle quickly by pressing ALT+Enter... Hopefully this meets your need.
