Title: Owning a piece of land

Just a thought,

There are areas that are big open spaces in game and travelling can take a while (relatively). Anyway the idea is to "rent" an area for say like a sub fee (something small like $2-3 a month). The idea is that as long as you pay the sub fee, you can own land.

With the land you can lay what you want, like place a house (existing house designs in game), teleport stone, farm land, anvil, fort walls and hire guards.

I guess you can tie this with the developer accounts.

Walking isnt so bad once you have all the spirit stones found. Owning land would more likely cost gold and require a premium account. Pre-set land plots for farming maybe.

I thought about allowing players to design houses with a tool and then upload them and specify a general location and we will get them in the game for you for some fee... Its something to think about, it would require my time to build a tool and figure out a way to make building roofs easier as that is somewhat complex with our general editor.

I cant do it right this second as my main focus is enchantment.

The fee/sub for the land could help with the cost of running the game etc. Small amount but it all adds up.

Also I think looking at the market, the consumables should be cheaper in price. Say the sharpening stone down to 10 tokens or something. It tempts players to maybe buy them as they are good value.

Might be a good idea to have the consumables and the cape etc to be "blessed" - doesnt drop on death. Might encourage people to wear them more. I know I wouldn't buy and wear one if they drop on death, otherwise it can be a waste.

Just a thought.

Yes I have thought about "Blessing" shop items as you speak of.
