So it just seems like what should be equally desirable weapon enhancements are not very balanced.
Hellfire just does the most damage right out
Magic blast does less but less random? Stil less overall
Cold Blast does less, it just does it in a seperate single tick of damage. Hit per hit its still less damage and slightly delayed.
Lightning again does less.
So rather than just pure damage maybe they could have their own little tricks?
Fire could add a DoT
Cold could do less damage and slow enemy attack speed
Lightning could add damage and increase weapon speed
Magic Blast could...restore mana? or dispel ? or just do the most damage? Or fire could simply do the most damage w/o a special affect.
Either way it makes them each unique and desirable in different situations.
