-This suggestion is in relation to the thread posted about "What is the most important area to improve"- The main issue as I see it is population.
Your dungeons are spectacular and wonderfully difficult where merited. The Combat is good and pretty fun. The Housing is great (needs built upon but what you currently have is very good) The Equipment is pretty cool. The quests are good (although I am not a quester) I personally think the graphics are great .
The ONLY problem seems to be a low population and afk grinding. I am very much guilty of afk grinding myself and like that I can play and browse forums and such, grab a drink and a smoke and come back to collect my phat lootz =P
...But sometimes its taken to the extreme and there are like 9 people on and they are all afk grinding all night . This game needs an active community and when new players log in they will have the most fun playing with other people. I have a BLAST in this game when there are other people to cooperate with or even villains like pooty tang to hide from (seriously, its fun for me to try to avoid his traps and tricks when he logs in- even if I end up dead)
I think we need some events during the weekend with some kind of incentive for people to log in and participate in them- Then we need to spam the hell out of Forums and MMO sites to advertise these events. Little awards like a trophy for your house or special item could be given to the winners of these events and maybe even small prizes for just participating. The thing is these events would have to last a few hours during prime time so that we will have a decent timeframe with lots of activity going on, during which our active players would come together and not be afk. Maybe a 2- 3 hour PVP event where the person with highest kill count wins or a scavenger hunt or guided quest. Then we will have a great opportunity to invite new players into an active time slot where they can ask questions and make some friends.
I am sure others have some good ideals as well and this could be a good way to begin building the population slowly.
That is my 2 copper, for what its worth.
