Definitly Player Run Shops, but I have a little different view on how I think this should be set up, while I do like the idea of having an NPC set up in a Home or Shop that you own( This is how SWG did it and it worked very well ), I also am a fan of the asian Merchant style, what I mean by this is in asian games with Merchant classes they typically allow you to have a cart that you can pull around with you and then are able to set up shop anywhere in the world that you want. You can put up a little sign with the Shops name or indicating what you sell, place it next to the cart, and players just have to come up to your character and interact with it like they would a typical NPC, the merchants set the quantity and prices when setting up the shop initially and then its locked in unless you take the shop down and then reset it up. Typically merchants end up setting up shops in a central area in a town and players can wander around checking the different shops for what they sell and their prices, this way has the player staying logged on while the shop is open but thats something I never had a problem with myself, I'd either just hang out and chat with people or leave my character logged in with my shop open when I was afk.

Having either or both of these options would work really well in my opinion, it would lend more a sense of a living world and give individual merchants reconition, people would go out of their way to find your shops at your home/business and also when out in the wilderness you can set up a shop in an area that you know players will need potions/food/equipment thus giving them the convience of not having to travel all the way back to town to replenish.

I like the game so far, but the one thing I cant get over is the play area screen size. I run a resolution of 1920 x 1080 and the play window equals about a little over a 1/4 the size of my 27" monitor. This drives me nuts!

How about throwing the same feature in game as Ultima, when you can grab the corner of the screen and drag it to make it as big or small as you choose. The game is tough for me to manouver in, playing a ranger who tries to kite mobs and is constantly getting stuck on buildings trees walls etc. It doesn't make for an enjoyable experience.

I'd say make the perma run feature an option, but someone metioned that already.

Absolutely Lee Roy working on expanding the world; however have you been to the sewers, skytop ruins, ice caverns, the cultist village, crypts level 1/2/2b?
