Title: For New Players

Hello, new players just like u i had to start from the begining with no loot other then what was giving to me when i made my acc. I would recomend searching around Dragonhead ( the town u start in) and figure out the layout, its quit small so it won't take long, shops have signs hanging on the outside of them, clicking on the sign will tell u the type of shop, like if u click on the sign and it says smithy, u can buy and sell weapons and also fortify and sharpen your weapons there. After u have searched threw this small town which at most will proably only take u a few mins since there are only like 3 shops there atm, a smithey a provisioner, and a tavern, the provosioner sells food, potions, leather armor and fur armor, the tavern is where u can obtain all kinds of food, such as meats breads and fruits, i recomend using bread as far as food is concered it has low weight and fills ur food meter up 18 points.

You should head on out to the south east to Brimstone, this town has 3 smaller villages around it, east brimstone, which is completley vacant, just by pass this town and head to the centural portion which is surrounded by walls, in here u will find more shops, a bank, this will be your stash point for all your goods that u aqcuire on your journey that you will want to keep safe. This building is to the south east (very large building), you will need to talk to the banker to access a bank acc. just talk to her and say i wish to open a bank acc. and blam your done, be warned for I have already made this mistake, the banker deducts 15 coin a week directly outa ur bank acc. so if there is no coin in there all of ur stuff u have stashed will vanish never to be seen again, so make sure u keep some coin in there. There is also a smithy, provisioner, a tavern and a magic shop here, the magical shop is where u can buy lvl 1 weapons and some ok amulets for a price, u can also recharge ur weapons that have magic enchanced on them and also sell amulets u find along ur journey, and finally there is a regent shop which u can buy scrolls and regents to cast ur spells with and u can also find a variety of potions here. There is another town to the south west (just a short run) of Oakpass this town also has a smithy a provisioner a regent shop and a bowyer which u can buy bows and enchance ur bows here.

Wondering where a low-lvl player should start gaining XP, i recomend heading to the mines just to the north west of Dragon head , the entrace to the mines is practically in town, once your in there head straight north and head up a small hallway and you will find a ratman up there, i would suggest you start lvl'n here till you get the hang of using potions and making all your hotkeys, which i can go into explanation once i get more time to add to this thread, but i hope this helps for now,

Good Luck to you and remeber you cannot get attacked by other players till you reach lvl 20 when u choose which reputation you wish to be, good or evil, and at that lvl when you die your equipment will no longer be warped to heaven with you, it will remain on your corpse so please remember this.

Hot keys can easly be made by going to ur options menu and clicking on the keyboard looking icon, heres a example of a hotkey, say u wanted a hotkey to open doors, take mine for instence i use the key F4 for my hot key, so u click on F4 then go to the scroll bar where there is a variety of different things, and search the menu till u find (open door) click on that, then go down to save and thats it. You'll diffently want to make a hotkey for healing and useful spells, there is one thing i think they should add to the macroing system is a reminder setting to let u know what hotkey does what, cause i have alot of hotkeys and alot of chr.s so its easy to forget what hotkeys are what, i guess for now a good idea would be to write them down on a piece of paper so u don't forget, worst comes to worst u just try the macro out and see what happens.

Wondering what stat points do what, and what to raise first? Well if u want to hit more you would want to go with faith, faith is your biggest provider of accuacy next to the skill of the weapon like say swords. If you wish to swing faster, then stanima is what u want to raise it causes your chraracter to swing faster, bigger hits?, then u would want to go with strength, strength adds extra damage to each hit, and also lets u carry more weight on you, it also is the biggest provider for HP (hitpoints), need mp? (magic points) then Intelligence and Knowlege both are the providers for that, need SP? (spirit points) then meditation is what you need to raise, i just mentioned the major things that these stats provide, there is alot involved with stat points in this game, there is a thread created by the game disgner i think its posted in game discussion second page atm, that should help you understand more of what the stats do, but also even with all that info, stats still provide some hidden things, like INT helps your healing cycles, so more INT you have the more times your chr. will heal itself per use.

Some other things to note, if u hold the Ctrl key and hit the Tab key that will let u switch targets, say if u wanted to be attacking somthing other then the monster that triggered your atuo attack. If u don't want to be attacking your target anymroe then u simply hold Ctrl key and hit the C (key) and that will cancel your target.

Real quick on potions, the ones you can buy from the provisioner and the regent shop have levels of strength on them, iam pretty sure the highest level you can get off a vendor is a level 2, the higher leveled potions you can obtain by killing monsters say like earth elementals dropp lvl 3 stonekin poitions, i think level 3 as of right now is the highest level you can obtain till they put alchemy in the game, now this talk on potions excludes the healing potion that is used to slowly heal your chr. there is no level currently for that potion so don't be confused.
