Thats correct for now... We will be doubling the armor in the game at the end of the month/beginning of next adding the female artwork and 4 new types of armor as well as new weapons, at that time the armor types will be reevaluated. Stay tuned till then.

Im not sure I completely understand your question. You can find out the reduction % an armor gives you by shift+clicking today, after the thepatch I am working these details will be available just by hovering over the armor. If your asking for one weighted average of reduction for your character, that will come later but that rating is only a statistic.

Armor works by randomly picking a peice of armor that will be hit and then accounting the type of damage dealt to that peice of armor and applying reductions vs damage types of the source of damage resulting in the end damage you take.

Head/Torso have the greatest chance of being hit followed by legs and then hands
