So this Prayer spell targets 'evil' only, so it hurts all evil not just undead? but SPECIFICALLY undead? Its pretty weak against evil, weaker than Shock/Fire despite its mana/sp cost. Im at 103/150 prayer now, against things that are undead AND weak to fire, Fire spell is still stronger and more efficient than Holy Light. MAybe it should ONLY target undead, and do higher damage ? i think i hit ice trolls for 12 with it.

Spirit based spells tend to pull extra damage from meditation as well... Keep in mind the spell was also designed as a low level prayer spell to help you build skill and is made for knight use (who has more limited spell access).

 

It was odd to see that knights can 200 prayer and wizards can only 150, i thought i was a White Magic and that was my thing! On that note, Barbarians cant get Black Magic, is that intentional or an oversight ?

 

Knights are like Paladins.  Good Knights primary magic is Prayer, Evil Knights use Necromancy.

Good Wizards primary magic is White Magic, Evil Wizards have Black Magic.

The secondary schools they can train in are at lower levels than their primary schools.
