Title: Class - less System (Ultimate Freedom)

I have been watching the progression of how different classes are associated with diffferent weapons, magic, and other skills.

I think the classes are done very well BUT is there any way perhaps that you could ALLOW players to start new characters NOT locked into a "class choice" BUT instead allow the player to choose along the way what he / she wants to develop?

I'm especially fustrated that I can't acquire magic class abilities and merchant class abilities together for one chracter.  I personally support more hybrid option building chracters.  It would allow players to be unique and not be fixed into a SET CLASS that eventually is greatly limitiing.

PLease kindly take into consideration just having all skills available in the list that players can buy as they level up.

Thanks : )

Thanks for your input it is something we could consider doing in the future however the class skills have been carefully balanced to prevent anyone class from being too good from another.

More skills and levels on skills would be a solid move on making chr.s more diverse, as where a chr. that could have any skill, would lead to a high % of ppl playing the same skill combinations. As far as merchant is concered maybe being able to wear light armor, maybe having that skill, and maybe having a skill in macing or axe of a max skill lvl of 150 with no chance to have title boosts. and that seems kinda silly though cause then ur just gonna have ppl grinding their way up lvls, instead of going threw the process of dong work orders and trading and selling. to earn the true exp. to becoming a merchant, so maybe it is a better bet not to hook up merchants with a weapon skil.

I like the way the merchant is right now, It gets extremely difficult and time consuming when you start to get your crafting skills over 125 which makes it feel like an accomplishment  when you get to skill up.

My only other issue is the lack of mid range mobs for ~ lvl40. Not that this has to do with the post but hacking on the same mob for hours on end is not very fun. Maybe more missions (quests) would help this.

quest givers need to have something to indicate that a quest is availible. Or perhaps you get a "carrier Pigeon" notifing you of a person in need(quest giver). Something to think about.

Edit: I am loving the game BTW, It's like if UO and Runescape had a baby, this would be it.

Cedricowns, not sure what class your working on atm, but at lvl 40 cold corpses give 29 xp a kill and if ur a knight ur gonna trounce these things with concencrate weapon in a few hits if that then add in any kinda flame weapon with added damage. The cold corpses can be found all threwout the ice dungeon, and the entry to the ice dungoen can be found straight north from the evil town. good luck hope this helps ya.
