Just logged in and realized that my house was empty, first thing that came to my mind was that there wasn't money in my bank and so i couldn't pay the rent.

But the reason i posted was that i actually lost everything.. 200k gold, dozens of gems, ores... because i used the chest in my house as a 'bank'

So there's no way to get them back?

Unfortunately no. The game only knows to check your bank account... It checks approx every 7 days. I would make it check your house also but it's too inefficient to do for server.

Ah okay.. No interest playing now.. i'll be back probably when game goes out of beta.

Learn from my mistake :D.. always keep spare money in your bank.

Based on what Season described: that would take at least a few months to earn all that stuff.  I'm sorry for his situation.

No I dont think so... I want to note that this wasnt a bug though, when you purchase a house it does tell you it will subtract funds from your bank account. Perhaps in the future we will make it a bit more clear though.

Hey Purity and Chris. How fast to get all that back depends on how much you play :D.. I'd say that I might be able to get all that in a week or two. At the moment gold is not dominating the game because there are not so many players, but it was nice to have some.

And i knew that it would take the money from the bank. I also left some money in there just because of that but clearly it wasn't enough for two payments and just forgot to store more money in the bank.

Could it be possible to get your items into your inventory or bank that was in the house when you cancel the rent or can't pay it, because when you have items that weigh tons and tons.. moving them to the bank is a pretty big project.

One more thing. The only reason I bought a house was actually that I could store my items with less walking. Even though furnace and anvil became handy too. At this point I had no use for a bank, but to store the money so I could pay the rent... It doesn't make much sense that I HAVE TO store my money in the bank so they can transfer it onwards to my landlord. (Sorry for sounding so negative :D)

In other words.. Bank is pretty useless unless you do not own a house.
