Hi Players,

A fairly simple concept were looking for input from players. Would you like to see critical hits put into Fantasy Realm Online?

Please provide some feedback and your thoughts on the matter. Remember to be mindful and respectful of others thoughts.

I can't see it to be good for pvp, unless its for casters since I feel like there spells are a bit behind, maybe just the lower level spells once you advance so far past them.

 

But if were just talking about pvp then it might be fun :)

 'Tis a great feature, as long as is not too game breaking, and the criticals are kept below 20% of maximum normal damage. The reason being that it could be frustrating to succumb by a reason of mere luck rather than skill, since the nature of criticals is always that of "getting fortunate" in all the RPGS In my past humble experience.

Yes, id like to see Critical Strikes put in!

 

Maybe as a skill, so players "pay" for having a high crit chance. Ofc Rouges should have the highest crit in the gamewink

Necro time ! The TTK on players already seems fairly quick. Also, would monsters be able to crit us ? 

 

I'm going to take a page out of another game and suggest that Crits could be added BUT....

Physical crits do more damage (duh)

Lightning damage crits drain mana/sp (so a lighnting weapon wont crit for more damage)

Fire damage crits with a DoT (same rule)

Cold damage crits cause slow

'Magic' damage cannot crit (could be buffed to compensate, for those who dont want to spend stats/gear towards crits) Alternatively could cause 'magic' damage weapons to bypass armor on crit.
