Ok I believe we can fix this and we will be helping you and others who get the same error but Ill need you to work with me on it because I have been unable to reproduce the error that is originally mentioned in the thread above. We will have to do some back and forth troubleshooting.... This one is really strange lets first confirm your error is exactly the same as above... 

1. Can you an email to support@fantasyrealmonline.com containing the screenshot of your patcher and the error.

2. Can you navigate to http://patching.fantasyrealmonline.com/fro/clientpatches/manifest.xml

You should get back an XML document with various tags and addresses.

3. What country are you coming from and what OS are you running?

Right now im leaning to something of internationalization.

 

 

Alright, so I tried it again this morning, and it worked! But I'll still work with you as best I can to help out others who have this issue, from what I remember of the issue. Unfortunately I can't do number one anymore since I was able to either get lucky or you guys fixed the problem (not sure temporary or permanent fix since I can only load it once.)

But it was at both the old launcher and the new launcher, and it would say "Temporary connection closed" and then a bunch of other stuff about the connection. I don't remember exactly, unfortunately. Then it would say, "Patching failed, please see the help and support tab for more information." Every single time on patch 1.6.3a it would say the exact same thing.

Second question, I can go to the XML file, yes.

Third question, I am the USA and I'm using Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit.

The error about screenshots was on our end but the other error I have not seen. I am glad you were able to get in the game. Let me know if you have any other issues.

All Servers are hosted in US as well. So that would nix that theory.
