Hi FreeJack,

Thanks for posting this... its a native stack trace, not sure I get too much out of it but it has a lot of locale info in it. Could it be a localization thing?

This is a fresh install with all repo installs no modifications. There have been 2 of us trying to figure this out. I am wondering if it is a video driver/card issue. It runs up to the point after login for about 10secs then just closes. If I can catch or find the reason for closing I can give you our problem. It is doing it on both 64 bit systems so I don't think it is localized. Now one of the guys I talked to asked me this earlier today: (well told me and asked me.)

I have seen something similar before- this "could-be" the problem, worth eliminating anyways,,, if they "compiled" and packaged this in a MS-Windows environment, Windows puts "headers" (I can't remember what its actually called) on certain files, which confuses bash and other shells, there is a way to remove the "headers" but I don't remember it either....

He asked me to make sure you were familiar with it.

I havent forgotten about your issue FreeJack... I am struggling on where to begin with this. Would you mind trying this on a 32 bit machine? I am curious what the result would be. Also if you have time to communicate with the Mono community, see if the mono folks can tell us anything...

I have several 32 bit  units I can try on. I will also head over to the mono community in irc and forums and see if they have any ideas after the 32bit test.
