I can confirm that on OpenSUSE 13.1 64bit this fixed the launch issue.

There is an additional fix that needs to go out for Linux to improve compatability on Xubuntu but its related to OpenGL not sdl.

How long till we can patch it and test it?

You say launch issue? I have another thread with an OpenSuse issue could you elaborate there?

Freejack, I am working on the xubuntu issue you presented, your 64bit suse issue is not something I can tackle for the next release, I think we need some moreinformation there and I am thinking it might be a mono issue on suse 64 bit not so much a code issue.

I meant to tell you the other week on xubuntu to try to install SuperTux :-) and then try to run FRO... back when I first ported FRO to linux I had two linux machines one had super tux and the other didnt and that was the difference. The root of the issue being SuperTux installs some libs for SDL that might be missing.

Another thing that might point us to the missing reference for sdl lib or root issue is running mono in debug mode. In your launch file change your run line to be:

MONO_LOG_LEVEL=debug mono instead of just mono

No, I thank you... I support Linux the best I can for the players I dont always have the answer though a lot of times if I have to go back to the Linux Community to figure things out. OpenTK relies on a number of Open Source libraries on Linux so implementations and versions differ from OS to OS making it challenging since much is out of my control when it comes down to underlying software layers.

I get logged in the game and can move around for about 5 secs before it dumps out of the game. On the Opensuse I have re-installed and I am running the same thing in the launch file. It is updating right now after updating the patcher which is what stosp it from running.I copied the complete folder from the Xubuntu system and tested it. It did the same thing dumped in the same place so I have reload on both machines just be sure it is not a corrupt file. I am working both of these.
