I think your missing the mono gdi library... try installing  mono-complete using apt-get, it should be in there.  I have this working on Ubuntu 12.10 so I would be surprized if it didnt work on your version.

 

Unrelated to your issue, do make sure you install the SDL development libraries as well I had to do this on my Ubuntu 12.10 to get the game running.

That appears to have fixed it doing next set of updates with new patcher.

Ok patched and started to run gives login window. I click in user name and no typing in the box. Any ideas?

Figured out the typing issue if you alt+Tab out the box will no longer take any input. Re started it and was able to create character then it Crashed giving this:

Ill see if I can reproduce your issue later today on my Linux test box. We recently upgraded to the latest version of open tk its possible that could be affecting you.

As a temporary work around try doing the following; this should at least get you in the game. I appreciate you toughing through the debugging with me:

Edit the /fantasy realm online/content/moon haven/content/settings/Settings.Sound.xml... set all the volumes to zero as shown below:

As far as additional things to check for to get music/sound working:

there may be some SDL ogg extensions you may need to install.... I am guessing it might be some kind of decoding issue at this point.

Made the changes, checked all extensions none missing. Same result and same stack trace.

Alright give me a day or two, I will have it avoid that call altogether when music/sound is disabled (Look for it next client patch)... We are working to drop SDL for music/sound soon anyway, May go with OpenAL on Linux instead. Check back on this thread soon.
