i think samthing wrong ... i have the black screen and the patching number only go up ... its 784 now and allready 2 hours past.... i have  30mbs internet... win 7

Seems very strange... Sounds like the patching process got hosed somewhere.  The max patch version is 87 right now. 2 hours is a very long time also, even on slower dsl connections I can complete patching in about an hour. However sometimes the patch server it self can be slower...

Try completing the following. (This will cause FRO to clear all patch information):

Assuming you installed fantasy realm online to the default location on your pc.

1. Open My Computer -> C:\ -> Program Files (x86) -> Fantasy Realm Online -> content.
2. Delete the Moon Haven Folder.
3. Restart Fantasy Realm Online from the shortcut on your desktop/program files menu.

the counter reset to  the massage :

"Downloading Patch 04 1/16. . .(version 72)"

after 10 min of counter going up it changed to :

"Downloading Patch 94 1/16. . .(version 72)"

 

i didnt install it in progream files.

thats pretty good then, the first patch is going to take a lot longer than most other patches if you went to 94% in ten min... Just hang in there it should finish the other 16 patches faster.

One other tip, it is ok to close the game while it is in the downloading state but never close it while it is in the apply patch state.

it go up to 500 so i dony think thats % :)
