Below are a number of changes and fixes that will be included in today's server update.
Protected Areas
Walled cities and other areas may be protected. If a protected area is a "Good" region then non-evil characters may not be attacked in that region. If a protected area is "Evil" then all non-good characters may not be attacked. If a character is an enemy of the region or has recently been aggressive to an ally of that region (in the last few minutes), then that player will be warned that they will be jailed after several seconds if they do not leave the city.
So if for example if you are Evil and enter Brimstone, you will be jailed.. or if you are neutral and recently attacked someone good (in the last few minutes) you will be jailed.
When you are jailed you will be put in a small holding cell for 2 minutes. After two minutes you will be released outside of town at a nearby random location.
Other changes and Fixes:

Change: Amount of time it takes for your spirit to reuinte with a new body has been decreased by approximately 1 minute (time spent being dead)

Change: Npcs will now respawn if they are not in their spawn area and no players are in view or the npc is not in combat with a player or npc after 8 minutes.

Change: Gemmed Platinum Ingot Worth slightly decreased

Change: Tin should be more common (Some veins were broken and because of an error some of the veins were going to the back of dragon head mountain). New veins were also added.

Change: Dragonhead Village homeland fixed

Addition: Merchant character can now get detect hidden

Addition: Whenever you enter a house you own or are a resident of you will receive a reminder to freeze items you place in the house.

Fix: Work orders should now stay with you when you die.

Fix: Etchings should appear on item details menu of weapons that are etched

Change: Bow damage now gets bonus from intelligence rather than strength

Change: Battle axe need for carpentry reduced to 25. This is temporary until we get carpentry functional in the game.

Change: Town guards are now stronger, more difficult and will run after enemies rather than walking.

Change: New Player Status now remains until Level 30 rather than Level 20

Fix: The bug that caused a crash yesterday morning is fixed.
